She has previously worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Kolber, a native of Pennsylvania earned a doctoral degree from University of Miami. She began her career as a video editor at CBS Sports in New York City. When she was working at WTVJ-TV Miami and WTVJ-TV Miami, she was awarded an Sports Emmy. Additionally, she was employed by WPLG-TV in Miami as well as WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1993 she joined ESPN and was chosen as one of the first anchors for ESPN2 when it was introduced during the same year. After three years with the network, she left ESPN2 for Fox Sports.
